is an inspiration and
role model for thousands of women wanting to explore their
inner Bond grrl. After 12 years as a qualified laser technician
at Lawrence Livermore Labs and private industry (where
her business attire included a mandatory hard hat), Susan
longed to regain touch with her sensual side. She became
a professional exotic dancer in San Francisco's premier
gentlemen's clubs for 10 years, which became the basis
for her sensual dance classes. Susan leads seminars, and
one- and multi-day workshops on self-esteem, movement and
body image, sharing strategies and techniques for increasing
a woman's self appeal through positive imprinting, meditation
and sensual dance. Susan has lectured at San Francisco
State University and the University of California Berkeley
in the fields of human sexuality, gender and women's studies.
She still dances in Las Vegas, and her acclaimed DVD, "The
Art of Sensual Dance® for Every Body," is available here
believes in
the unlimited potential of the human mind.
Susan's passion is in helping women achieve
their potential, through guiding and teaching
them to harness that power. Susan's clients
have redefined their self images, broken through
personal barriers and fears, accelerated healing,
and realized their most heartfelt goals. Her
workshops draw participants from all over the
Bay Area, and she maintains a thriving hypnotherapy
and energy-balancing practice, where she leads
in-person, telephone, and personalized tape/CD
inductions to accommodate all womens' schedules.
Susan harnessed the power of her mind early;
she combined the discipline, determination
and positive thinking she instills in her clients
to become a multiple national swimming recordholder
and Stanford University graduate. While at
Stanford, Susan became intrigued with hypnotherapy
as a healing and empowering modality, but the
magnetic pull of Silicon Valley drew her into
a decade long career in sales and marketing
before relinquishing her back to her true calling.
She pursued her masters degree at the California
Institute of Integral Studies, and has practiced
for over 15 years as a certified clinical hypnotherapist.
Susan holds a 2nd degree black belt in Shorin-ryu
karate, a brown belt in judo, and maintains
her deep, intuitive connection to the ocean
and with wild cetaceans by teaching scuba diving
and leading diving and dolphin trips worldwide.
